Space Waves isn't like a game you start; it's rather like a wave that suddenly sweeps you up and keeps you traveling. You're going through a tunnel of light at an ever-increasing pace from the very first instant, which makes you have to respond nearly without thinking. There isn't enough time to get used to it, and there aren't any breaks to ponder. You have to manage everything exactly until the last moment. You move a little arrow, yet it seems like you're flying through a cosmos filled of limited spaces and sharp edges. Every time you encounter an obstacle, you go back to the beginning, yet for some reason, it doesn't stop you. It really makes you more intrigued and want to learn more about the flow that is happening in front of you. Space Waves doesn't provide you clear answers; instead, it makes you find things out for yourself by trying things out. And it's this process that makes the game so interesting in its own way.

The more you play, the more you find that Space Waves isn't as crazy as it seems. There is a very delicate rhythmic pattern behind the twisting passageways and barriers that don't appear to fit. Every part of the music has its own beat, and if you can feel it, everything becomes clearer. You start to know when to accelerate up, when to keep going at the same speed, and when to be ready for a smooth glide. The game tests both your reflexes and your sense of touch. As you slowly become used to that beat, the whole thing changes. You don't feel like you're attempting to beat a task anymore; instead, you feel like you're dancing along with the game's movement. This is what makes Space Waves so unique. It's not a hard game anymore; it's a really engaging experience.
